Stillborn Hilton Infant

One of the most disappointing circumstances that can occur for any parent is the stillborn birth of a child.  While stillborn births occur less frequently today, there were not uncommon before World war II.  The record below shows the certificate of death for a male child.  Note that the child was noted to be 2 years 2 months and 2 days and the date has been crossed out and rewritten.  The comments state that the child was reported to be "born dead".
