No other information is known about Pinkney. However it is an odd name. A record of death has been found for Charles Pinkney Helton in Pickens County in 1924. This may not mean anything other than coincidence of an unusual name. However, old naming traditions could offer some suggestion between the two. The death certificate may offer some insight into mother/father's name and help with a connection at a later date.

Charles' father was L.H. Helton and his mother was Nannie Arp.
