In the name of God, amen, I James Hilton of Guilford County in the state of North Carolina calling to mind the mortality body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die and being of a sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God I do make and testify this is my last will and testament and desire it may be received by all as such and as touching such worldly estate of effects as it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give to my wife Mary Hilton one hundred acres of land containing the improvements during her widowhood and during my life and after my demise.
